BENTLEY REACHES 4 YEAR MILESTONE

Bentley station the first station ever to have had G-Tech copers installed in the UK reaches its four year milestone in September this year. The station was refurbished using the G-Tech coper in the Autumn of 2011 as a trial of the novel composite platform edging system. The platform was finished within a 10 day period and since then has been the subject of regular inspections by both Network Rail and G-Tech. To date the platform has required no maintenance and signs are that there has been very little impact to the copers laid at this time.
