G-Tech have recently had calculations implicated to give maximum projections on overhang of the combined coper. Due to the weight and the size of the coper a more flexible protrusion is able to be specified. On a case by case basis as dependant on the quality of the riser wall on the platform, the allowance of extended overhang benefits Network Rail in helping them to achieve their desired gauge.
